Outside Sales
Responsible for making sales calls to professional customers and making sure they are receiving great customer service from their supporting store. Outside Sales team members drive profitable sales by making sales calls, sharing promotional programs and information, and learning from the customer how O'Reilly can be a better business partner. Opportunities are then communicated to the store teams and operational leadership. A primary objective is to maintain strong relationships with current and existing customers while obtaining new business with shop owners in the designated territory.
Qualifications
- Two years of related experience in outside sales (automotive industry a plus)
- Strong communication, negotiation, organization and leadership skills
- Ability to create and execute customer development plans
- Ability to analyze sales reports and take appropriate action
- Ability to operate our POS system
- Ability to analyze sales reports and problem solve
- Honesty, dedication, commitment, passion, drive and the desire for success
- Regional travel required
Parts Delivery
Provide world class customer service through the safe and efficient delivery of parts/products to professional customers using a company provided vehicle.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced retail environment
Retail Merchandising
Responsible for keeping the store front floor area stocked, fronted, and clean. Also responsible for stocking merchandise according to planograms or displays, completing sales preparation, and greeting customers on the sales floor. May also require occasional delivery of parts/products to professional customers.
Qualifications
- Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences
- Excellent customer service skills and good organizational skills
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a good driving record and valid driver’s license.
Store Counter Sales
A Store Counter Sales team member is the ideal position for a knowledgeable and energetic person who has a passion for automotive parts and believes in taking care of the customer, as well as the power of teamwork. As a Store Counter Sales team member, you will provide retail and professional customers with world class service. You will also support management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks, including maintaining inventory control and store appearance.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Bilingual a plus
- Motivated to train and learn
- Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced retail environment
- Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems a plus
- ASE certification preferred
Store Management
Responsible for developing and leading a team to achieve sales performance, exceptional customer service, store appearance, and general task and compliance execution on a daily basis. Objectives are to show consistent sales and profit growth by ensuring outstanding customer service, proper staffing levels, performing outside sales calls, maintaining store and team appearance, and controlling expense.
Qualifications
- Automotive retail management experience
- Experience developing and leading a team
- Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems
- Must be available to work as scheduled
- ASE certification preferred
