Two Ozarks originals are joining forces to make the journey into America’s #1 Theme Park as memorable as the destination itself. While almost every theme park in the country charges for parking, Silver Dollar City is doubling down on the arrival experience by creating the nation’s first theme park transit department in partnership with O’Reilly Auto Parts—adding a touch of pioneer spirit to the modern-day convenience of a ride in and continuing the tradition of free parking.
For 65 years, guests arriving at Silver Dollar City have been greeted with the promise, “You’ve got a great past ahead of you.” That journey begins long before they step through the park gates. Now, under this new partnership, the park’s transportation fleet will be reimagined to reflect the spirit of both brands—rooted in The Heart of the Ozarks and dedicated to customer service.
Three themed vehicle types—the Stagecoach, the Carriage and the Welcome Wagon—will transport guests to and from their personal vehicles. Together, they’ll immerse visitors in the charm of an 1880s mining village.
“This is more than a sponsorship, it’s a partnership between two brands rooted in the Ozarks,” says Brad Thomas, President of Silver Dollar City Parks & Resorts. “Just as O’Reilly Auto Parts has served generations of families with reliability and care, Silver Dollar City has welcomed millions with hospitality rooted in tradition. Together, we’re creating a one-of-a-kind way for guests to begin their adventure the moment they step onto our transit vehicles.”
For O’Reilly Auto Parts, headquartered just up the road in Springfield, Missouri, the collaboration reflects its deep ties to the region and its customers. The company started in 1957 with just one store and 13 team members, founded on a culture that included teamwork, hard work, and honesty. Today, that culture remains strong in its more than 6,400 stores across North America.
“Silver Dollar City is a beloved part of the Ozarks, and like us, they believe in delivering excellent customer service,” says Hugo Sanchez, Vice President of O’Reilly Auto Parts Advertising and Marketing. “We’re excited to help guests begin their day at the park with a ride that’s as special as the memories they’ll make inside. And, if the ride they’re driving home is in need of a part, accessory or free store service, we’ll be there to help with one location minutes away and many more along their route.”

With the new partnership, Silver Dollar City is also rolling out the red carpet to O’Reilly Auto Parts’ O’Rewards members. Their loyalty customers can look for those offers to arrive in about a week. Visit oreillyauto.com to find the nearest location or to join their loyalty program.
The new Theme Park Transit Department will roll out in phases. Guests will begin to see the Stagecoach making rounds at Silver Dollar City this fall.
