Installer Pricing Coordinator - Sales Dept
Full-time position Mon-Fri 10:00 am to 7:00 pm

This position will analyze new metro markets and make recommendations to management regarding installer pricing, map competitors in relation to O’Reilly stores, prepare summaries of the market competition and establish sales goals for the market area. Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent, advanced computer skills including Excel and data entry, public relation skills, minimum of three years of sales experience, strong math skills, and a working knowledge of the auto parts industry.

Treasury Technician - Finance
Full-time position Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

This position is responsible for all aspects of store cash including reconciling bank accounts, credit card settlement, over/short reporting, late deposit reporting, cash concentration, researching variances, working with loss prevention, and correspondence with banks. Requirements for this position include proficiency with spreadsheet and word processing software, ability to perform queries and write journal entries to the general ledger, good math skills, attention to detail, accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to work with limited supervision. Banking experience is a plus, as is Chesapeake or other reconciliation software experience. It is helpful to know 10-key by touch.

Alarm Response Dispatcher - Loss Prevention
Part-time position, Tuesday and Thursday 5pm–11pm, and rotating
weekends 8am-5pm

This position monitors all incoming signals received at the central station, verifies alarms and notifies the proper authorities and/or key personnel based on the type of alarm signal processed. Responsibilities also include changing alarm codes, maintaining service log, maintaining confidential information, processing service tickets for store alarm systems, and providing support via phone to store personnel on arming and disarming alarm system. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, typing speed of 35 WPM, basic office skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a positive and professional image.

Sr Staff Accountant - Tax
Full-time salaried position

This is a professional position responsible for GAAP accounting for all tax areas (property, real estate, sales, corporate income and franchise), supervising staff, preparing documents for internal and external audits, tax research, prepare schedules to apply/report taxes, and other duties as needed. Requires Accounting degree, 1-2 years relevant experience in corporate taxation, strong PC spreadsheet and word processing skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills, and excellent communication skills. CPA and prior public accounting experience preferred.

Staff Accountant - Tax
Full-time salaried position

This position is responsible for GAAP accounting for all tax areas (property tax, real estate tax, sales tax, federal and state income tax and franchise tax). Will prepare documents required for audits performed by internal and external auditors and cross train for all duties performed within the tax function. Requires four-year Accounting Degree. Prior accounting experience and tax knowledge preferred.

Payroll Technician

Full-time position Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Primary responsibilities include collection, editing and input of all data related to payroll check production. This position is the primary point of contact for payroll-related customer service and inquiries. Will also assist with weekly processing and distribution of payroll checks, various reporting, auditing and clerical functions for the department. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, payroll or payroll-related experience, 10-key skills, knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, and strong analytical aptitude. Professional certification and/or Associates Degree preferred.

Programmer Analyst
Full-time salaried position

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining computer systems; increasing proficiency in systems analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, and implementation standards; and compliance with O’Reilly policies and procedures. Desired skills include RPG/400, RPG IV and CL. Other midrange or mainframe programming experience will be considered.

Corporate Assistant - Store Design
Full-time position Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Provides administrative support to the Store Design Department and assists in day-to-day activities and projects. Responsibilities include providing necessary Store Design supplies to stores; assisting stores with merchandising questions; updating Store Design web page; issuing signs to stores; updating MS catalog with new or deleted items; and various reports and correspondence. Requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent customer service skills, good verbal and written communication skills, experience with Word and Excel, ability to multitask; excellent organization skills; and ability to adapt to constant change.

Pricing Reports Specialist
Full-time position Monday-Friday 8 am – 5 pm

This position is responsible for pricing-related reporting; assisting others in department with pricing issues as they arise; creating queries; preparing Gross Profit Reports; preparing scan down invoices; assisting with Product Alerts and store communications; and preparing month-end reports. Requires high school diploma or equivalent; two years office experience; advanced PC skills including Excel and Access; good communication and people skills.

Credit Account Maintenance Specialist

Full-time Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.


This position will load new accounts, perform maintenance to existing accounts, coordinate new accounts/uploads and letter mailings for new stores, assist with phone coverage, review tax forms to make necessary changes, maintain database for employee accounts, and transmit accounts to appropriate stores. Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent, two years of data entry experience, excellent communication skills, ability to prioritize, proficiency with Word and Excel including queries and mail merges.

Accounts Payable Specialist

Full-time Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.


Perform various accounts payable related tasks including process expense & merchandise invoices (paper and electronic), disburse payments upon due dates and work closely with vendors, store managers, and corporate departments regarding both invoices and credits. Responsible for processing daily departmental mail, balance monthly merchandise statements, assist with cash disbursement process, and utilize spreadsheets and run queries. Requires excellent 10-key skills, knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, accurate data entry, good typing and communication skills, and knowledge of accounts payable process.

Computer Support Technician
Full-time salaried position

This full-time position will provide phone support to our store personnel who have computer questions. The work schedule during the initial training period will be Monday-Friday approximately 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (This is somewhat flexible.) Some travel to local stores may be required during the training period. After the training period, the work schedule will vary but will usually be four 10-hour shifts on Thursdays, Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays from approximately noon-11:00 p.m. with an hour for lunch. Requirements for this job include excellent customer service and verbal communication skills and an extensive knowledge of computers and their applications.

Temporary Office/Clerical Support Staff
Most positions are Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

We are seeking a group of dependable, friendly people who would enjoy temp work. Most positions will be 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at our corporate headquarters. We might occasionally have some part-time or flex-time positions. Some positions are temp to possible hire, and some positions are for short-term projects. Some assignments will be for a few days, and some will be for months. Most of our temp assignments will include these duties: answering phones, making copies, filing, sorting, researching on the Internet, scanning documents, data entry, shredding papers, and/or mass mailings. Most assignments will require some ability with Microsoft Word, Excel, excellent phone etiquette, keyboarding, and accurate data entry.
